My name is Stevie!

I’m a Philly based performer and writer. My heart lives constantly in a world of poetry but I am always pushing myself to write in a new way. In my performance, I like to feel all emotions and play to see what can happen! This comes from a deep desire to explore and connect with what I am creating. I want to build a character, a life and a world. No matter how "small" the role is. 

 A professor by the name of Leah Walton once said "uncomfortable and unsafe are two different things" and I carry that as a reminder in all the art I make. I want to push boundaries; whether it's personal, societal or artistically. As a non-binary queer performer, in a world that doesn't always feel like it is for me, it's important that I show I can do/be/have anything; whether that's playing a man, woman, animal or inanimate object. Writing a show and putting it on in the span of a month. Or showing a younger person they can do whatever they want as long as they find joy. I can do it all, I will do it all!
